Admissions

Kline School is a private, independent co-educational school serving students in kindergarten through eighth grade.

Kline School seeks to enroll students who have the academic potential and the motivation to fulfill the requirements of a demanding program and the desire to participate in rich opportunities for personal growth.

Efforts are made to have as diverse a student population as possible including students from different social, economic and racial backgrounds.  A positive attitude toward work, self, and other is the highest priority in the admission screening.

Admission to Kline School is a three step process:
1.)  General inquiry and campus tour
2.)  Review of school records and standardized test results
3.)  Personal interview with the director and visitation

Students may apply any time of the year.  Candidates are urged to make application by mid winter prior to the year of proposed enrollment.  Priority status is granted to siblings of current Kline students.

To begin the application process, simply complete the Enrollment and Registration Forms.

Tuition and Fees

A one thousand five hundred dollar ($1,500) non-refundable deposit is required at the time a student is accepted into the program.  Three hundred dollars ($300) is the Annual Materials and Field Trip Fee, two hundred dollars ($200) is payment of the Technology Fee, and the one thousand dollars ($1000) is distributed in two five hundred dollar ($500) increments toward the First and the Second Tuition installments.

Financial Aid

Kline School is dedicated to enrolling students who represent the widest possible social, ethnic, and economic range.  A family anticipating the need for financial assistance may request an application from S.E.E.K.  S.E.E.K. grants a limited number of scholarships to students of financial need and to students who will make a contribution to and benefit from a private school education.

After need has been established and funds are available, the Scholarship Committee reviews school records, aptitude and achievement, character, citizenship and potential.  Approximately 20 percent of Kline students receive partial scholarships.

Financial aid awards are for one year.  Renewal of a scholarship is based upon proof of continued financial need, as well as evidence that the recipient has exhibited academic progress and good citizenship.  Those reapplying for financial assistance are given priority.  Then consideration is given to those seeking aid for the first time.

To learn more about financial aid read the series of Scholarship Documents including the Memorandum from the Scholarship Committee Chair, the Criteria, and then complete and return the Scholarship Application with the Enrollment Form.

Kline School admits students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin to all of the rights, privileges, program and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.  It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, financial aid programs, athletic and other school administered programs.
